LTVA – Long Term Visitors Area

While there are LTVA in Owens Valley located on the Eastern Side of the Sierra Nevada, they are not like the Yuma District LTVA areas. They charge nearly double, have an incompetent Ranger that fancies herself as a plumber that shuts off the water for long periods of time while leaving pip[es open to get infected by bacteria. While many Southern LTVA residents may think that the Altitude will bring cooler weather, this is simply not true. The temperatures in these LTVA campgrounds do exceed 100 degrees for most of the summer.
